OPENING DETAILS FOR 2020
Wildwood is open during autumn and spring each year however with the advent of Covid-19 and the associated restrictions we are only opening on Saturday and Sunday for the rest of autumn 2020.
Opening details Saturday and Sunday only due to Covid-19 with a final opening on Monday June 8. We are open from 10am-4pm.
Peak autumn The coloured foliage in our collection of deciduous trees including maples buildsg right through autumn with peak colour in May. There are also sasanqua camellias in bloom right through autumn along with roses and late summer and autumn perennials including salvias in peak flower in April.
Salvia show (postponed) To celebrate the beauty and diversity of these drought and heat tolerant, bird and insect attracting perennials, we stage a special Salvia Show each autumn (postponed to October 17-18 and 24-25, 2020 due to Covid-19). There'll be lots of flowers in bloom and a good range of salvias for sale in the nursery.
Opening details August 7 until November 2 on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 10am-4pm, including long weekends and public holidays. These details are subject to on-going Covid-19 restrictions and may change.
Peak spring Enjoy magnolias and camellias in August, cherry blossom in mid September with more blossom flowering through October and November.
Camellia show In late winter and early spring Wildwood's 600 plus varieties of camellias fill the garden with blooms. In August we showcase camellias with displays of cut flowers. The Camellia Show dates for 2020 are the weekends of August 22-23 and August 29-30 when there'll be lots of flowers in bloom and a good range of camellias for sale in the nursery.
Salvia show Salvias are a feature of the plantings at Wildwood with more than 120 species and varieties in bloom and for sale in our nursery. We normally showcase salvias in autumn but due to our closure in autumn the show is now on in spring. The Salvia Show dates for 2020 are the weekends of October 17-18 and October 24-25 when there'll be lots of flowers in bloom and a good range of salvias for sale in the nursery.
Wildwood is open other times by appointment for groups of 20 or more. Groups are welcome on regular open days too but let us know if you plan to visit. We can provide light lunches, morning or afternoon tea for groups. Please call Wayne on 0417 042 460 for a quote.

Facilities Cafe serving coffee, tea, cakes and light lunches (see link to menu at the bottom of this page), gift shop, nursery, toilets, disabled parking, picnic grounds beside the lake. During the Covid-19 restrictions we can only offer takeaway drinks and some food.
