Garden open

27 Oct 2021

Wildwood garden is open after the lifting of local lockdowns and Wayne and Sue Tapping are looking forward to welcoming visitors.

"It is wonderful to be able to share the garden again with visitors," says Sue, who has a nursery well stocked with plants and a gift shop with lots to tempt shoppers. In particular there are good stocks of camellias and salvias.

To follow COVID restrictions, visitors must check in and should be vaccinated. Visitors can bring a picnic to enjoy in the garden or drop into the cafe on the verandah where Wayne is serving tea, coffee with homemade apple, scones and cakes all served with real cream.

When travel restrictions lift, visitors will be able to come to Bilpin from other parts of New South Wales.

The garden is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday form 10am-4pm until the end of November.
