Wildwood opens for its sixth year with what's promising to be a fabulous and colourful autumn in the mountains.
Wayne and Sue Tapping have been working hard over the summer break watering, pruning and planting. There have been some trees to remove and lots of cleaning up after some wind storms but they are looking forward to throwing open the gates and firing up the coffee machine for visitors.
The garden opens this year on March 23 and is open every Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday until June 11 (including public holidays). The garden is open from 10-4 and admission is $10 for adults ($8 concession, children under 16 free).
As well as lots of colourful foliage, which reaches peak viewing after Anzac Day, the garden has a large collection of salvias in flower and for sale during the garden's annual Salvia Show which runs over the first three weekends of April (7-8, 14-15 and 21-22).
