17 Oct to 18 Oct 2020

Each autumn Sue Tapping stages a spectacular Salvia Show over the first two weekends of April. However, this year, due to Covid-19, the show has been postponed until October as Wildwood Garden is closed at present in line with government directives.

Salvias are an excellent plant to grow for lots of flowers and colours and to encourage birds and insects to visit your garden. They are also heat tolerant and, once established, drought tolerant too. To how the huge variety of salvias that are available to grow in gardens see what's in bloom in the garden at Wildwood and the many pots of named varieties for sale too. The Show is open over normal open hours in October over the weekends of October 17-18 and 24-25.

As Sue was getting ready for the show this month there is plenty of stock in flower in pots at the Wildwood Garden nursery at present. If you are in the Bilpin region or passing, please call ahead and we can have plants available for purchase at our gate. Speak to Wayne on 0417 042 460.
