Cherries in bud
The weeping cherries, which are a feature of Wildwood in spring, will soon be in full bloom.
Wayne and Sue Tapping say the early warm weather is bringing their cherry walk (shown in the banner above) into full bloom. They forecast that it will be fully out around September 16-19 and over the following weekend. The cherries are under planted with hellebores which have been looking spectacular right through winter. Although these cherries are a feature of the garden there is a succession of blossoms out right through spring including crabapples, other cherries, magnolias and of course dogwoods. Wildwood is a great place to enjoy a spring wander at any time!
